  • Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own chairs. Please be sure to sit only in the designated chair seating area once you arrive.

  • Yes—Movies in the Park is a family-friendly outdoor movie series in Nashville. All films are rated PG-13 or under. However, we encourage parents and guardians to use their own discretion when deciding what is appropriate for their family. We hope to see the whole family enjoy this free community event!

  • Yes—well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome at this free outdoor movie night in Nashville. Please keep dogs on a leash at all times and be sure to clean up after them. For the safety and comfort of all guests, dog crates, cages, and pens are not permitted.

  • No—tents, shade structures, and other large setups are not permitted for guests at Movies in the Park. Only sponsors and event partners are allowed to have designated setups on-site. Guests are welcome to bring blankets and chairs, but please keep all belongings within the designated seating areas.

  • Parking is available at Blakemore United Methodist Church,  "Otter Creek Church-West End Campus, Congregation Sherith Israel and West End Middle School. Additional street parking will be available, but is prohibited on Gillespie Ave. Please be mindful of nearby residents and DO NOT block any driveways, or you will be towed.

  • Yes. A selection of local Nashville food trucks and beverage vendors will be available on-site at Elmington Park during Movies in the Park. Food and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased throughout the event. Please note that some vendors may be cash-only, so bringing cash is recommended.

  • No. Alcohol is not allowed in Elmington Park. This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free community event, and park regulations are strictly enforced.

  • Follow us on Facebook at Nashville Scene's Movies in the Park for the most up-to-date info. Our reserved rain date will be announced if we have to cancel any of the showings.

  • Food trucks, games, sponsor giveaways, and activities begin around 5:00 PM, so we recommend arriving early to grab a good spot and enjoy everything the event has to offer. The movie will begin at sundown (typically around 8:00 PM in June). Come early, grab dinner, and settle in for a show under the stars at this free outdoor movie night in Nashville.
