1. DON'T BE A JERK
It's no secret, 2020 is a WEIRD YEAR, and our city's restaurants have been deeply impacted by the effects of COVID-19. Many of our participating restaurants are constantly updating their safety procedures and protocols to following the orders put in place by the Metro Nashville Public Health Department. This may affect their hours of operation, affect if they can or cannot serve alcoholic beverages to go and more. We're doing our best to keep our readers, taco eaters and marg drinkers informed and will update our website with any changes to these types of things as soon as the restaurant notifies us of them. But please be flexible, be patient and wear your dang mask.
2. THERE WILL BE WAITS
People are PUMPED about #SceneMargandTacoWeek. I mean we ARE talking $6 *specialty* margaritas and two whole tacos for $6 here. Don't be surprised if restaurants have waits with limited capacity seating or your to go order takes a little longer than normal. If they do, buy a $4 Modelo Especial and relax, share a post on social media using #SceneMargandTacoWeek and maybe you’ll win some prizes...
3. YOU WILL TIP
$6 food and drink specials brings out the cheap in all of us, but kindly tip at least 20%. The people who are serving you are working REALLY HARD during #SceneMargandTacoWeek to get you a discounted meal for a delicous price. A kind word will also be welcome—these people are our friends and neighbors, so please do not give them any trouble.
4. SIDES IT UP!
All Margs and Tacos are a la carte. While extra purchases are not a requirement, we gently suggest that you round out your meal with maybe a $4 Modelo Especial, some chips and queso, or some spicy sides!
