Meet the Panelists

Bill Haslam 

Bill Haslam was elected governor of Tennessee in 2010 and reelected in 2014. Prior to that, Haslam served as mayor of Knoxville from 2003 to 2011. Since leaving office, Haslam has returned to the private sector and continues to be engaged on local and national issues. Haslam and his family are owners of the NHL’s Nashville Predators and Bill is the Chairman of the team.

Executive Chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties

Colin Reed is the Executive Chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties, having served as a director since 2001 and as the Company’s CEO from 2001 through 2022. During his tenure, he's led the company’s strategic transformation, including the growth of Gaylord Hotels, its 2012 conversion to a REIT, and key investments to expand Opry Entertainment Group.
