Meet the Panelists

Bill Haslam

Bill Haslam was elected governor of Tennessee in 2010 and reelected in 2014. Prior to that, Haslam served as mayor of Knoxville from 2003 to 2011. Since leaving office, Haslam has returned to the private sector and continues to be engaged on local and national issues. Haslam and his family are owners of the NHL’s Nashville Predators and Bill is the Chairman of the team.

Doug Kreulen

President & CEO, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority

As CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, Kreulen is responsible for both Nashville International Airport and John C. Tune Airport. Prior to joining MNAA, he served four years as Director of Operations for the Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority. Before beginning his career in the commercial aviation sector, Kreulen served in the United States Air Force for 27 years.

Colin Reed

Executive Chairman, Ryman Hospitality Properties

Colin Reed is the Executive Chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties, having served as a director since 2001 and as the Company’s CEO from 2001 through 2022. During his tenure, he's led the company’s strategic transformation, including the growth of Gaylord Hotels, its 2012 conversion to a REIT, and key investments to expand Opry Entertainment Group.
